I am Lydia Cherotich born in the year 1992 in the Great Rift Valley region of Bomet – where it is the world-renowned tea exporters. My passion started at an early age where we could always see different wildlife like the vervet monkeys, snakes(pythons) and leopards roaming our homes. I carried my passion through my lower and higher education with me and afterwards I enrolled for a journalism course at Maseno University but ended up dropping it after a full semester for my passionate career in Tourism and Wildlife Management at Maasai Mara University. Upon my graduation in the year 2013 I immediately enrolled for driving classes and did my bronze level exams ate KPSGA and my journey started in hospitality and tour guiding. My growth in the industry got me to management level where I was running various properties including Soroi Collection but my desire for being out in the nature and being a conservationist ambassador made me opt out and chose to become a full-time safari guide – where my heart is. I believe learning never stops and I look forward to more of it as I create unforgettable memories with you.
