Born and raised in Maasai Mara. As any other Maasai boy, it was my daily duty to look after my father’s livestock. I had a passion for wildlife all through my childhood, since we closely interacted with these animals. I can say that’s the time when I picked to do tour guiding as a career.

I later enrolled in a year-long wildlife conservation and tour-guiding course at the Wildlife Club of Kenya College after graduating from high school. During my study year, I earned my Bronze level certification from KPSGA.

I later returned to the same college thereafter to continue my education, spending two years concentrating on a diploma in wildlife and tourism management. Subsequently, the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association awarded me the Silver Guide rating.
