Detailed Itinerary - Discover Kenya Safari
Day 1
Arrival in Nairobi
Arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. You will be met and transferred to the Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi Airport Hotel for overnight stay.
Depending on your arrival, we can arrange excursions (extra cost) such as visits to the famous Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage where you can see baby elephants at play, feeding or having a mud bath (open to public at 1100 hrs only, pre booking required), Giraffe Centre where you come in close contact with the endangered Rothschild Giraffes and feed them, Karen Blixen Museum, Nairobi National Park, City tour & shopping.

Day 2
Nairobi - Aberdare National Park
Depart for the Aberdare National Park driving through the highlands past the tea and coffee plantations. Arrive at your ‘Tree Lodge’ for lunch. Afternoon spent game viewing from the comforts of your lodge which lies on the path of an ancient Elephant migratory route between the Aberdare Ranges and Mt Kenya National Park. The Lodge faces a natural watering hole and salt lick visited by elephants, buffalos, rhinos and more game. Dinner and overnight will be in Treetops Lodge.

Day 3
Aberdare – Samburu Game Reserve
After breakfast, you will depart for Samburu National Reserve, which is well known for its large herds of elephants, elusive leopards, and northern endemic species. These include the long-necked Gerenuk, the Somali Ostrich, Gravy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, and Reticulated Giraffe. On arrival, continue to your safari lodge. After check-in and a delicious lunch, embark on your very first afternoon game drive.

Day 5
Samburu Game Reserve- Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast depart towards Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to the largest black Rhino population in East and Central Africa amongst other wildlife. It also hosts one of the most successful primate sanctuaries. Lunch on arrival at your tented Camp.
In the afternoon we will take you to visit the chimpanzee Sanctuary, home to previously captive and orphaned chimpanzees from other parts of Africa. A unique opportunity of viewing the chimps enjoy the peace and harmony of their natural environment.
Thereafter a game drive in the Conservancy. Dinner and overnight in Sweetwaters Serena Camp.

Day 6
Full day at Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Full day in Ol Pejeta Conservancy with early morning and afternoon game drives.
You will visit Baraka the black rhino, a unique experience to get up close and personal to an adult black rhino! Born in the wild in Ol Pejeta, he lost his eyesight due to a fight and then a cataract. He now lives peacefully in his enclosure and has taken to his new role as rhino ambassador! He can be fed from the specially designed feeding platform that borders his enclosure.
Ol Pejeta is also home to the last remaining two Northern white rhinos, kept in a secure enclosure with round the clock security. They can be visited at extra cost. (pre booking required)

Day 7
Ol Pejeta - Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast you leave for Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at your safari Lodge with a game drive en route.
Proceed for an afternoon game drive around the scenic lake for wildlife sightings as well as spotting the black and southern white rhinos and the endangered Rothschild’s Giraffe. Other attractions are the Makalia Falls and the famous Baboon cliff. Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for its Rhino conservation and is home to a high concentration of wildlife despite its proximity to Nakuru Town. The simple co-existence between people and wildlife in this region is quite amazing. Dinner & overnight will be at Nakuru Sopa Lodge.

Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Maasai Mara – Lake Naivasha
Breakfast at your camp and drive to the second Great Rift Valley Lake to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon will be spent enjoying a boat ride on the lake as well as a visit to the nearby Crescent Island where you can walk amongst game such as giraffes, waterbucks, zebras etc.

Naivasha – Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
