Early morning game drive. With a bit of luck and clear weather, the snowcapped peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro can be seen in the morning & late afternoon hours. Return for breakfast to your safari lodge. After an early breakfast we depart for the Kenya/Tanzania border, Namanga. Your Kenyan guide will hand you over to our Tanzanian company. After clearing immigration formalities, you shall proceed to Arusha town with your Tanzanian guide. After about 2hrs arrive at Shangaa River, where you will enjoy a hot buffet lunch with African theme. The Shangaa River House is a beautiful restaurant that also has a recycling glass workshop where you will get a chance to see some amazing and unique work done by handicap people who actually make a living by creating beautiful glass items like beads, decorations, wine glasses and much more. After a well-deserved lunch we depart for Lake Manyara National Park. You will arrive at the lodge late in the afternoon, and spend the rest of the day at leisure as you unwind. After an early breakfast enjoy the early morning game drive at the Lake Manyara National park, with picnic lunch. Stretching for 50km along the base of the rusty-gold 600-metre high Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a scenic gem, with a setting praised by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. The compact game-viewing circuit through Manyara offers a virtual microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience. From the entrance gate, the road winds through an expanse of lush jungle-like groundwater forest where hundred-strong baboon troops lounge nonchalantly along the roadside, blue monkeys scamper nimbly between the ancient mahogany trees, dainty bushbuck tread warily through the shadows, and outsized forest hornbills honk cacophonously in the high canopy. Later after lunch depart and proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will arrive your lodge late afternoon. Rest of the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge
Situated on the quiet eastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater the lodge is located 220 km from Arusha, approximately 4 hours’ drive and 40 minutes by air, with another 2 hour transfer from the airstrip to the lodge.

After early breakfast descend and depart for half day crater tour with picnic lunch and enjoy game drives at the crater floor. This protected area is located in the Great Rift Valley and is also known as the eighth wonder of the world. The Crater actually is a gigantic fracture of the earth’s crust. The magnificent landscape consists of volcanoes, mountains, plains, lakes, forests and archaeological sites. At 1600 meters altitude the bottom of the Crater (265 km square), dotted with watering holes, offers shelter to almost 30,000 animals in an area naturally enclosed by the slopes of the volcano. Strangely, the Crater elephants are mainly bulls. After a day well spent you return to the lodge to enjoy a sundowner over-looking the crater from your lodge. Evening at leisure. After breakfast, depart Lake Victoria driving eastwards towards the Kenya – Tanzania border. On arrival at Isebania border post, you will be assisted by your driver guide through the border crossing process and thereafter proceed on to your luxurious camp for lunch. Game drive en-route. The mighty Mara remains one of Kenya’s best loved reserves harboring miles of wide savannah, rolling hills and riverine forest with huge grazing herds, bountiful birdlife and Africa’s largest population of lions. The Mara is more than just the most popular wildlife park in the country; in many cases it is the reason why people come to visit Kenya. This is a classic African savannah, and the sheer density of wildlife is amazing. The Mara is in the northern extension of the Serengeti plains. In the Mara you will see an astonishing amount of wild life, of the big cats, lions are found in large prides everywhere and it is not uncommon to see them hunting.

Enjoy extensive game drives in the reserve with vehicle & guide at your disposal throughout the day. You may start before sun rise and end at sun set.
