On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representatives, who will transfer you to the Hotel and assist you at check in. The rest of your day will be spent at Leisure. Lunch and Dinner will be on own arrangement. Overnight Stay at Kigali Serena Hotel

Meal Plan: Bed & Breakfast
After breakfast you will embark on the Tour of the City of Kigali and the Genocide Memorial Museum, followed by Lunch at a Kigali Serena Hotel. Thereafter drive to the Volcanoes National Park. The journey North passes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that characterize much of Rwanda’s landscape and gradually climbs to the base of the Virunga Volcanoes, sometimes with as many as five peaks visible.
Dinner and Overnight at Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge
Guest accommodation at Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge consists of six cottages, two
suites and a family cottage. All the rooms are spacious, and have an equally spacious en suite bathroom. They are decorated in the same style, too, with gentle terracotta and white colors throughout, and stunning wildlife paintings, mainly of the gorillas.
Each room comes with large double or twin beds (complete with very snug bedding), a dressing room (with plenty of hanging space and shelving, which houses a safe) and a minibar, pre-stocked with bottled water and bottles of wine, should you wish to relax in your room rather than head to the bar.
Meal Plan: Full Board
Today you will have the rare opportunity to observe the famous Rwandan Mountain Gorillas (subject to gorilla permits being available). Tracking the Gorillas through the forested slopes of the Virungas is a magical experience. If you are lucky you can get to the Gorillas, spend an hour with them, and be back at the base in time for a late lunch. Some Gorilla families, however, are more elusive, and tracking can take a full day, especially when it is wet and muddy.
After Lunch depart from foothills of the Virunga Volcanoes, driving South past coffee, tea and banana plantations on a breathtaking scenic drive back to Kigali. On arrival in Kigali you will be transferred to Kigali International airport for your onward departure flight.
