Specialty: Ornithology / Spanish Speaking Guide / Historical Tourism
I was born and raised in the countryside of Makueni county, home of the Kamba community known for their wood carvings. Life here was slow and encounters with various animals was very common. Unlike my peers who developed fear for animals, such encounters picked my curiosity and from the curiosity my love for nature developed.
There was a rapid growth of technology in my early years and this exposed me to nature documentaries that helped me understand basics on animal behaviour. My degree in travel and tourism management enhanced my knowledge and my field of experience has acted as the icing on the cake.
My experience has involved guiding clients from all walks of life explaining natural history, Flora and Fauna and more on the culture of our people. In my quest to reach a wider audience, I have learnt one of the most spoken languages, Spanish. Going on a safari with me is not only and adventure, but also a great experience as I not only speak the languages of the world but also understand the language of the wild.
