Born and raised on the western edge of the vast Soysambu Conservancy and along the beautiful shores of Lake Nakuru, Francis developed a deep passion for wildlife and nature from an early age. Growing up in an area where people and wildlife frequently interacted, he witnessed firsthand the challenges of human-wildlife conflict. These experiences inspired him to seek solutions and ignited his lifelong commitment to wildlife conservation.
Driven by a strong desire to protect nature, he became an advocate for conservation within his community, educating those around him about the importance of preserving wildlife and natural habitats. His passion eventually evolved into a career dedicated to sharing the wonders of nature with others and inspiring a greater appreciation for the environment.
With extensive knowledge of wildlife, ranging from diverse bird species to Africa’s iconic Big Five, Francis offers insightful and enriching experiences for visitors. He is also an accomplished wildlife photographer, using his lens to capture the region’s breathtaking landscapes and remarkable wildlife. His photography reflects both his deep connection to nature and his commitment to showcasing the beauty and importance of conservation to the world.
