I was born in 1990 in Nanyuki, Laikipia county, which is on the western slopes of Mt. Kenya and adjacent to the famous Ol Pejeta conservancy. After high school I joined Mt. Kenya Guides of porters’ club where I started as a porter and eventually promoted to a guide. Two years later, I joined Global Institute of Tourism and Business Administration where I pursued a diploma in Tour Guiding.

I joined nature Kenya in 2012 where I sharpened my knowledge for birds. Later, I joined Kenya Birds Map where I have been an active member. I have been recognized as among the best ornithological guides in Kenya. I have worked with various Tour companies and gained a lot of exposure to many tourist destinations.

I have great passion for wildlife photography.
