KPSGA Level: Gold Guide
Certificate/Specialty: Ornithology, Flora & Fauna Guide
I was born in 1987 North of Nairobi. During High School my passion for nature and wildlife had greatly developed. I was the Chairman of the Wildlife and the Environmental club. On completion of High School I enrolled for an Italian language course and I received a certificate in the Italian language. I later joined College and attained a Diploma in Tor guiding and administration.
All through my College years I engaged in Nature Kenya which is the Ornithology foundation in Kenya for a year and also volunteered at A.F.E.W Giraffe Centre as an educator about conversation especially of the Rotschild giraffe and general wildlife.
During my attachment and volunteering period I was able to sit and pass my Bronze Kenya Professional Guide Association (KPSGA). I later got employed in the Mara at a luxury camp which further developed my knowledge in navigation and guiding in the Maasai Mara Ecosystem. I was able to sit my Silver Kenya Professional Safari Guide Association (KPSGA) exam and passed. I dealt with a lot of photographic guests that gave me an edge to learn and perfect on the needs and interests of photography clients plus also taking attention to detail.
I later joined a lodge in Nairobi National Park and their guests are from across the globe for it also acted as a good base for understanding different Nationalities, interests, preferences and needs.
