Depart Nairobi and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley with its scenic views over the Rift to Lake Nakuru. The park is famous for it’s large population of pelicans, the endangered black and white Rhino as well as the big cats in its eco-system. Resident in the park are Defasa Waterbuck, Common Zebra, Rothschild Giraffe, black & white Colobus monkey and different species of antelope and buffalo. With a bit of luck, you could encounter lions or leopard. The landscape is great! Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives around the lake with lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or similar. Depart Nakuru by 16.00 hours to arrive Nairobi at approx. 18.30 hours. (Approx. 2.5 hours drive to Nairobi)
