Mlango Farm is a great destination for a refreshing day out of Nairobi for both adults and children. We welcome groups for daytrips to visit the farm. This includes both a guided walk on the farm (the length will depend on your own wishes) and a lunch on our fields.

We welcome groups starting from 6 people, on appointment only. On weekends we usually also combine smaller groups together. If you already have a date in mind, please do let us know asap, so we can reserve the day for you.
Guests are welcomed at 11 am, after coffee and tea we join you for a walk on the farm. During the guided tour you may like to harvest your own vegetables, at USD 8.00 per basket. Please bring your own kitchen knife, baskets will be provided at the farm.

After the farm tour a lovely lunch is served in our garden, consisting of a variety of dishes, all with fresh ingredients from the farm. The lunch is also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Children can play around, feed the animals (chicken, donkey, goats, cows, ducks, horses, sheep, tortoises, geese, guinea fowls and turkeys) and enjoy the green space!
Inside the house you are welcome to view our home art gallery, where we exhibit paintings from our village Ngecha, among many other pieces. You may also find residing artists working and exhibiting at Mlango Farm through our ‘artists in residence’ program.

In the morning it is sometimes a bit chilly, but later on it is almost always just nice weather, you may want to bring sunscreen. When it rains or has rained, it can be muddy. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes.

Plastics: at Mlango Farm we refuse, reduce, recycle and re-use waste as much as we can. We strive to minimize our single-use plastics. Although we will be happy to pack any leftovers from your lunch, we do not provide any plastic packaging for this; please bring your own re-usable containers. Together we will reduce waste and raise awareness to the outrageous amount of unnecessary waste that is created every day.
